Room 8 Aspire

Room 8 has been working really hard on their Aspire - Creating our Balmac Zoo.  We have been creating animals from our own chosen environments - everything from rainforests, the ocean, a sock drawer, a star, swamps, rivers....even a human brain!  I'm really looking forward to hearing our presentations on Wednesday, as well as our sharing night next Thursday - there will be a notice coming home about that soon.

Creating our Balmac Zoo

Hi Room 8!  I hope your Aspire homework is going well.  Remember you will be getting A and S checked tomorrow!  Most of you are well underway and there are some great animals taking shape.  Here is a bit of a reminder for those who need it:
 A - decide on the environment you are going to research.  You need to research conditions, physical features, temperature, what animals and plants live there, what adaptations do they have, what conditions are like etc.
S - reading over your research, writing it in your own words...highlighting important points etc
Some of you are onto P...excellent!  Based on your research you will now be brainstorming ideas for your creature.  You also need to draw up sketches of it and start thinking about physical and behavioural adaptations.
